Las Vegas, Nevada

Since Stefan has never been there we decided to start our stay in Sin City before driving over to San Luis Obispo. I also enjoyed it because it changed quite a bit since I was there in 2000.

You can`t believe how good the Brezn tasted after four and a half months without!

The decoration at Bellagio was really pretty!

Before we headed off towards the West we stopped at Hoover Dam

Lima, Peru 2 - this time we stayed a little longer

We had one big night out (not done that for a long time) and Stefan was the only male. I think, he enjoyed. ;)

On our last night we went to "Las Brisas", an ethnic dancing revue. It was great! Go there if you visit Lima!

And then it was already time to say goodbye again. Thank you so much for everything!

And it was time to leave South America... to a little stopover in the US.

Iquitos, Peru

Welcome to the jungle!

This house was built by Gustave Eiffel

On the first day of our stay in the rainforest we visited a butterfly farm where they also took care of injured mammals and baby animals which tourist bought on the local markets because they thought they would save them like this. They dodn`t know that by doing so they only encourage the dealer to hunt more of those poor creatures.

The floor was covered with flowers

I foundit pretty brave to swim in there because you couldn`t see anything

On our trip through the jungle we saw this little dragon,

drank water out of lianes

and checked the weather forecast with the help of some little mushrooms

Our guide seemed to float through the forest whereas we really had to struggle - the humidity was extreme.

bananas for lunch

Our last day we spent on the Amazon and visited some tribes and a little village where they breed caimans.
