Buenos Aires Argentina I

Am vergangenen Samstag sind wir zum Fussball und haben uns ein Spiel des hiesigen Bonzenvereins angeschaut - wie echte Muenchner! ;)

Last Saturday we went to see a football game:

Und einer hat sich gefreut!
And somebody was happy!

The next day we went to see Manu Chao - great!

Monday I had my shoes fixed

In the botanical garden

These violet blooming trees you find everywhere.

At Placa de los Alemanes

The cemetery of Recoleta

Dinner at home

Posadas Argentina

On the road again...

The freaky bus stop in Encarnacion - no toilets but flies!

The strictly guarded toll gate between Paraguay and Argentina

Our hotel in Posadas - clean rooms and hard mattresses

Mittagessen im ersten Haus am Platz

Lunch at the top establishment in town

I'd like the job of the one on the ground! ;)

Falter im Farbenladen

The next day we made a trip to San Ignacio Mini where we wanted to visit the Jesuit Mission.
Unfortunately we where a bit late but during a walk through town we met some pupils who told us that they have an exhibition in their school that day. The topic was "Energy".

The school logo.

wind energy in the front, biomass energy in the back

After the exhibition we got a guided tour through the school which is something like a professional school. (so etwas wie eine berufsvorbereitende und Berufsschule in einem)

the turning shop

the electric workshop

the foundry and metal working shop

At the end it was one of the most interesting places we saw yet, much more interesting than most of the tourist spots. We were really happy to get such a friendly look into the peoples life.

Two days later we left Posadas

Sunset at the international bus terminal

BsAs we are coming!
