On our way we came through several faked Tibetan villages - all of them full of Han Chinese
and some Tibetans who kept the streets clean

Jiuzhaigou, China
After Guilin we took the train and several busses to visit the famous Jiuzhaigou National Park
Yongshuo, China
Since we had seen enough major cities and tourists, we spent our first week in China on the countryside near Guilin. To get there we took the overnight bus from Guangzhou. It was quite comfortable and the steward showed the only English movie he had, an American highschool splatter with the lovely title "The Butcher". We somehow felt we had to watch it to the end...
Bali
After Japan we made our first China experience on the flight to Bali.

At the northcoast of Bali we had the chance to stay in a really fancy hotel for some nights.
...where we could relax at the pool...
... or take a bath in our huge tub.
After that we went to the mountains for 3 nights and found a nice room with a great view.

The last Banyan Tree in Indonesia was on the opposite side of the valley.
It took 6 hours to get there and back. A wonderful walk!
