For our first six days in India we had a driver who brought us to all the sights of the so called "Golden Triangle" (Delhi, Jaipur, Agra). We had a great time and really enjoyed the comfort!
At Humayun`s Tomb in Delhi
Our drive from Delhi to Jaipur
Amber Fort in Jaipur
This was the winter residency of the Maharaja. In this hallway they lit candles, the mirrors reflected the light and thus heated the building.
Hawa Mahal (the Palace of the Winds in Jaipur)
We had to send back some things and spent over an hour at the post office.

Views from our hotel roof
On our way to Ranthambore
At Ranthambore National Park we were looking for tigers and first saw some footprints, ...
monkeys, ...
peacocks...
...and in the end even a tiger! People there told us it wasn`t very likely to see one if you only go on a safari once. Some visitors go on five or six safaris before they get to see a tiger. so we were really lucky!
Back in the hotel we kept watching animals and sugar cube thiefs
On the road from Ranthambore to Agra.
In the evening we went to see Taj Mahal from the back and even saw a funeral at the Ganges
The next morning we got up really early to get to the tomb before the crowds
In the afternoon we visited Agra Fort
and in the late afternoon the so-called "Baby Taj"
These pictures were taken from the train window shortly before we arrived in Varanasi and got ripped off for the first time...
