From Livingstone we took the bus via Lusaka to Mfuwe, a little village close to the entrance of the National Park
We spent three days in a camp and went on game drives every moring and evening. On our first drive we learned that lions do climb trees but only when they haven't eaten.

One day we went on a walking safari. We didn't see too many animals but learned a lot about what they eat and leave behind.

One afternoon seven giraffes and one monkey crossed the river bed. Some were very curious others hid in the bushes.
This female lion almost jumped on our front lid and we only dared to move again when she was out of harm's way.
Back in the village
The next morning these two old men squatted our yard.
On the way to the park we were delayed by a herd of elephants.
