El Calafate - Glaciar Perito Moreno

After our trip to Uruguay we took the plane from Buenos Aires to go down south to Patagonia.
We arrived in El Calafate on Friday the 18th of december.

First impressions...

I always thought Flamingos live in Africa... ;)

The next day we took the bus to El Calafate's highlight - Glaciar Perito Moreno

After we arrived we first made a boat trip to the glacier.

 

 

 

 

 

 

After the visit to the glaciar we drove with the bus through the country where we met real gauchos with their mustang herds
