Two hours after La Paz we had to cross Lake Titicaca at a narrow point...
...then we reached Copacabana
The view from our room
With the paddleboat on the Titicaca Lake
You can get your car blessed there and lots of people actually do.
Pictures from our trip to the Isla del Sol (the island where the first Inca came to earth)
They are still using the old Inka terraces to grow their crops.
On the boat to the island they robed us for carnival
The holy rock of the Inka
Our guide
The look back to the holy rock and the historical site
Me on old inka trails
and others too
La Isla de la Luna (isle of the moon)
Back in Copacabana
Does this remind anybody of something?
The next day we went on to Puno in Peru (still at Titicaca Lake)
Martina crossing the border to Peru.
Some pictures from Puno and the floating islands
For me the whole thing was a bit too much made for tourists
The next morning we took the Inka Express to get to Cusco.
