Salta - San Pedro de Atacama - Salar de Uyuni

From Cafayate we moved on to Salta in the North of Argentina. After Salta we crossed the border to Chile again and stayed two nights  in San Pedro de Atacama in the Atacama desert. From there we organized a 3 day trip to the salt flats of Uyuni, Bolivia.

In the morning of day 3 we reached the Salar de Uyuni, the biggest salt flat on earth.

In the Salt Hotel in the Salar. They say it is a museum now, but there are still tourists staying there.
Where goes all the garbage to?

(How rich must a nation be giving 2500 Euros to people who throw away a nine year old car?)

Lunch in a salt restaurant next to the Salar.
